Lot 1

The Migrash 1 Project is situated along Route Number 4 - between Hadera in the north and Beit Lid Junction in the south. The building serves as the central and prominent landmark at the sole entrance to the Emek Hefer Industrial area. The project is nestled in the heart of a rural and agricultural area, surrounded by villages, orchards, dunes, the Hadera Forest, and the coastal lowlands - a region rich in local landscape and textures.

The building's unique location, together with the wide variety of uses it encompasses, led us to develop a design concept based on principles of simplicity and uniformity - principles that formed the foundation for all architectural decisions. The building was designed as a four-story cube with a simple, uniform white façade with various openings. The choice of minimalist materials and consistent rhythm of openings allows travelers on the road to experience the building as a kind of white cube - modest and pleasant - one that gently peeks above the treetops along the road.

In contrast, for visitors arriving on foot, the scale of the openings and the overall design create a different experience — that of a welcoming office building, rather than a highly industiralized complex. Yet the simplicity and uniformity of the façade should not be mistaken for a 'boring' design.On the contrary — the facades' design creates depth, contrast and a dynamic relationship with natural light. The façades guide the visitors' view along the building, as seasonal shifts in light and shadow animate its white surfaces with a sense of movement.
