About the Project
Meet our studio – a hierarchy-free colorful space
After 10 years of operating from a loft in the Tel-Aviv Port, Auerbach Halevy picked up an offer they couldn’t refuse, and relocated to a self-designed building in the Airport City business park, near Ben-Gurion Airport.
The new office is designed as a single, tall, open space, containing workstations, senior partner rooms, conference rooms, an entrance hall, and a small kitchen. The partner rooms overlook the open space and are open and separated with glass walls, which allows for direct communications with the people working in the open space.
Underlying the office’s design is the open, hierarchy-free studio space that encourages personal contact and exchanging chewing gum and snacks.
The furniture was designed uniquely by the architects, and is tailored to the office’s specific creative needs (meaning a plethora of paper). We invented a modular shelving system especially for our offices, which is both colorful and useful, doubling as a partition dividing the open space. The result is a stimulating mix of function and lightness, colors and shapes, and original solutions for storage and work, all contributing to a pleasant and efficient work environment.
The office is a white ocean with bright islands of color. A large sized graphic reproduction, partly doodled by the architect repeats in different variations throughout the office and offsets the white walls.
