About the Project
Inspired by local scenery, the sculptural building fits its surrounding perfectly
The project draws on natural phenomena, flow, movement and light, dew, terraces and crevices. Translating those into a building creates unconventional spaces that makes the building itself an indispensable part of walking through the exhibition halls.
The museum encapsulates the Jerusalem spirit: Architecture that echoes the unique topography and water flow and created a local language of terraces, stone and glass domes surrounded by urban parks. The result is a sculptural building fits perfectly with the surrounding urban tissue.
