About the Project
The youth center is a homogeneous complex infusing old and new.
The youth center of Beni-Dan in Tel Aviv belongs to the international Youth Hostel Organization. In this youth center we tried to capture the spirit of Tel Aviv by creating communal areas encouraging the inhabitants to meet and interact.
The complex breathes new life into three existing buildings, by adding essential spaces as well as a new story, within the existing contour of the lot. The new design language is reminiscent of the original and creates a homogeneous complex infusing old and new.
Recently, we have also finished designing the interior of the college building, which includes classrooms, faculty offices and public areas. The design line is characterized by rich colors along with black and white contrast and the use of natural and relaxing materials.
