The design vision was to create a home for an autonomous community, one that provides a sense of security, independence, and is tied to the fabric of life around it. The project is situated on a 9,000 sqm campus and includes 349 apartment units and an assisted living units.

Built around an internal courtyard on three sides and open towards a public park on the east side facing the Sumerian hills, the project complements the existing dense urban fabric. The feel of continuous urban architecture is also expressed by splitting the mass into smaller building parts of different heights and materials.

The dynamic circular routes create a rhythm and connection between the public spaces, atriums, lobbies, and bridges all intended to enhance the visual experience and increase the potential of meeting other residents and guests. The main entrance hall, which is naturally lit by a glass dome, is strategically located near the glass elevators to make navigation clear and intuitive both for vertical and horizontal movement. The emphasis of a village community is also expressed through the interior materials selected for use in the public areas. A mix of warm rich wood, deep terracotta, and stone were chosen for their sustainable properties as well as to offer a homely & relaxing atmosphere. The project includes all the necessary facilities for a thriving urban village community. Included is a fully equipped gym with both indoor and outdoor pools, an auditorium, class and activity rooms, shops, a supermarket &restaurant, as well as a synagogue. These amenities surround the terrace and public courtyard which serve to enhance the connection between the indoor and exterior spaces.
